Kate Moss steps out of the Topshop office in London wearing what I believe to be a vintage dress most likely from the eighties (it could otherwise be a contemporary-retro design). What I love about this flag print dress are the LONG sleeves and SHORT hemline.
Kate looks adorable in this simple but chic ensemble especially with those perfectly patent flats.
In this shot of Cameron Diaz at the the Stella McCartney store in Los Angeles for the screening of Home, she wears none other than a stunning Stella creation. It's lightly padded shoulders are only reminiscent of the masculine-influenced style of the 80s. She looks adorable, but then again, Ms. Diaz is a rare breed who can look stunning in almost everything.

I have found some of my personal favorite vintage looks from the 70s and 80s, but the process can be difficult and time-consuming as the awareness and demand for vintage style increases. An easier solution is to commission a custom dressmaker to use a pattern and/or fabrics from a bygone era to recreate a vintage look. Another payoff for selecting vintage (aside from recycling, reusing and repairing) is (fingers crossed), the limited possibility of getting caught in the same outfit at the same event (especially with the taller, skinny, model-looking bitch - oops, I meant chic) as you. Good luck.
