The red carpet fashions at this year's Academy Awards were, well, just ok. Many of you have already seen the gowns that marched the red carpet with all its pomp and circumstance. Here are my two (and only) favorites:
Rachel McAdams
The Canadian starlet wore an Elie Saab Haute Couture strapless gown made with panels of organza and mousseline with a sweetheart neckline and hand pleated bodice in a romantic print containing shades of pinks, blues and greens. Loves it! She paired it with a Ferragamo clutch, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and, we're told, Sergio Rossi shoes. Look out for both large and small floral prints this coming season. And don't hesitate to mix this trend with others strong patterns.
Meryl Streep
It's not an easy fashion feat to wear white from head to toe without looking like a bride - Meryl Streep schools us all with a draped Chris March gown, Jimmy Choo strappies, and a Swarovski clutch. It drapes, cinches and pleats in all the perfect places.
