ANNA in NYC

In a recent jaunt through East Village in Manhattan, I came across a gem of a boutique called ANNA. She represents the design sensibility of Kathy Kemp (as well as the name of her Grandmother who taught her how to sew as a young girl).

If you are aware of my obsession with premium fabrics, it won't come as any surprise why I initially fell in love with Kathy's designs. But the real clincher is Kathy's genius of combining comfort and classic lines with a twist. It's so current but not of the here today, gone tomorrow variety.

Kathy Kemp's designs are worn by women all over the globe including celebrities from America's
Sex and the City to the pages in Russian Vogue. And I can't help but add that she is one sweet lady!
