It seems even famed fashion designer, Marc Jacobs, favors a little foot fabric peeping through the straps of his sandals. Whether he was just cold or is full-on endorsing this trend, we’ll never know. I sincerely hope however, that trendsetter Jacobs is not endorsing a socks with Birkenstocks comeback.
Wearing this trend is no different than traditionally accessorizing your outfit. Select your socks to match the fabric and weight of your outfit. Choose heavier and longer (but scrunched) socks with a more covered up look, and thinner, smaller sockettes with dresses and skirts.
